Spiritual Emphasis Week
Morgan, Clayton King, and Phylicia
Last night was the last part of Spiritual Emphasis Week with Clayton King. Clayton has been here since Sunday, teaching morning and evening on topics like genuine conversion, discouragement, and relationships. He is a powerful speaker, one of the first I have heard who speaks on God’s justice and wrath as well as his love and mercy. His messages were very inspiring, encouraging, and convicting.
Many students came to truly know Christ through his message on genuine conversion. In fact, one girl not only became a Christian, but went to her RA and confessed that she had been living as a lesbian. She asked her RA and SLD to assist her in deleting all phone numbers, contacts, and email addresses as well as blocking her own from the people she formerly associated with. Student Care is currently helping her begin her new walk with the Lord.
